Flip the Script

What a teacher says, “My students won’t do it that way. They don’t know how to do it.”

What I hear, “I’m not sure how to teach this concept and I need help understanding the math.”

I needed to flip the script.

Flipping the script brings the work into my locus of control.

When the work is within my locus of control, I can support. I can differentiate. I can coach and impact instruction.
